I’m now the recommended photographer, working with Gary and Simon, at the fantastic Old Hall Country House in the lovely village of Madeley.

What can I say, this house is stunning, a unique 16th century B&B with 4 characteristic bedrooms complete with antique fittings, exposed stone, beams and exquisitely carved beds.

It is rumored that King Charles II sought refuge from the roundheads in a priest hole in the largest bedroom placing his crucifix and bible on a ledge and praying to remain hidden. The priest hole now doubles as a wardrobe 🙂

The house is gaining huge popularity as a venue specializing in intimate ceremonies but with further facilities for larger weddings. The garden turret is perfect for outdoor picturesque ceremonies and the gardens are perfect for stunning bridal portraits and summer tea parties. Have a look at their website here.

Simon, his best friend Shirley and The Old Hall are appearing on Channel 4’s Four In a Bed starting on Monday 27th June at 5pm. I’ve heard from Simon that it’s a fantastic week of shows and that they do pretty well, so I’m looking forward to seeing that!
